Security/Firewall by default [November 2009]
- Autodetect localnetworks and allow traffic
- Detect SIP/UDP and HTTP(S)/TCP (API) brute-force attacks and throttle the traffic
- Change usernames of default Linux accounts
- Move SSH to port 23 (bypass default scan attacks)
- Drop traffic to the SSH daemon coming from remote networks (exceptions can be configured through the webinterface)
- Transmits alert on login to the management nodes
Enhanced monitoring, graphing and alerting [November 2009]
The MIXpbx pushes the following useful data to the management nodes:
- Connections(TCP, UDP, local)
- Traffic (per interface)
- Load (CPU)
- Processes
- Usage (Disk and Memory)
- Status of SIP trunks
- Status of ISDN lines
Translation of the management interface to French and German [January 2010]
French and German will be added as core languages to the management system. MIXvoip will also provide some default voice prompts in English, French and German being recorded by the same voice.
Custom ringtones for incoming calls [February 2010]
Users can upload their wav or mp3 files in the management interface.
