Mixpbx recording

The MIXpbx can record calls and save them as a wav file. Recorded conversations can be accessed in different ways:

• through the call list inside our webinterface
• through a mounted share (samba)
• through http or https to the IP address of the MIXpbx inside your local network

Different ways to activate the recording of a conversation

• The extension has been configured in our webinterface to record calls being originated from this extension or terminated to this extension.
• The user pushes the record button during a conversation. Not every phone has such a button. Snom phons support this feature.
• During the conversation the user takes a second line and dials a special number to start the recording, or another user dials a special number to start the recording. This feature is useful for phones that do not have a record button.
• The user starts the call with a special prefix.
