VoIP phones can either be connected to the MIXpbx or directly to the MIXvoip supernode infrastructure. Some features depend on the infrastructure (MIXpbx or supernode) and some features are infrastructure neutral. Other features depend on the phone model or brand whereas generic features such as call transfer exist on all phones.

Naming conventions

• brand/model neutral feature description

• brand/model neutral button description

Categories: phones, mixpbx phones, phonebuttons

• brand dependant feature description

Article name: phones $brand $feature
Categories: phones $brand, mixpbx phones $brand

• brand dependant button description

Article name: phones $brand buttons $buttonname
Categories: phones $brand, mixpbx phones $brand, phonebuttons

The category depends if the feature is available on the MIXpbx or on the supernode infrastructure.
